9:6-8.87 Exception to requirement to provide reasonable efforts to reunify child with parent. 5. In any case in which the division accepts a child in care or custody, including placement, the division shall not be required to provide reasonable efforts to reunify the child with a parent if an exception to the requirement to provide reasonable efforts has been established in accordance with section 25 of P.L.1999, c.53 (C.30:4C-11.3).
