58:30-4 Sale, long-term lease of assets. 4. If an owner determines that emergent conditions exist, the owner may long-term lease or sell its water or wastewater assets to a capable private or public entity pursuant to the provisions of sections 5 through 9 of P.L.2015, c.18 (C.58:30-5 through C.58:30-9). An owner may so long-term lease or sell its water or wastewater assets without any referendum except as may be required pursuant to subsection g. of section 5 of P.L.2015, c.18 (C.58:30-5).
