N.J.S.A. 58:25-30 — 90% State funding

58:25-30. 90% State funding Any municipality or other public entity eligible for a grant pursuant to section 7 may apply to the department for up to 90% of the total inventory, mapping, planning, and design costs to be incurred thereby, as applicable. The municipality or other public entity shall include in its application, the purposes for which the grant shall be used, the method of accomplishing those purposes, a statement that the municipality or public entity shall provide 10% of the total cost, any other information the department may require, and if applicable, a statement that the municipality will conform with the department standards for the stormwater system inventory and map. The department shall review and approve an application if the amount requested is reasonable for the work to be accomplished, the municipality or public entity is providing the required match and meets any other department requirements, and, if applicable, the municipality has agreed to conform with the department's inventory and mapping standards. Any application disapproved may be amended and resubmitted to the department. L. 1988, c. 90, s. 8.
