Penalties

58:11-39. Penalties Any person or corporation violating any provision of this act shall be liable to a penalty of $200.00 for each offense and an additional penalty of $25.00 for each day of continuance of violation after notice of the violation shall have been given to such person or corporation by the State department or the board of health having jurisdiction in the municipality in which such violation occurs, to be collected and enforced by summary proceedings for the collection of penalties pursuant to the "Penalty Enforcement Law." L.1954, c. 199, p. 752, s. 17. Amended by L.1966, c. 143, s. 7, eff. June 18, 1966.
