58:10-35.2. Rules and regulations; restrictions in permits; violations The said commissioner shall prescribe rules and regulations to effectuate the provisions of this act and any such permit may contain such restrictions as the said commissioner shall determine to be necessary in the public interest to protect the waters of the State, including subsurface and percolating waters. Any person who shall violate the provisions of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and the provisions of this act shall be enforceable by action or other proceeding in the Superior Court of New Jersey to obtain relief in the nature of injunctive relief, both restraining and mandatory, and also by action or proceeding in said court in lieu of prerogative writ.
