N.J.S.A. 58:10-23.27 — Definitions

58:10-23.27. Definitions For the purposes of this act unless the context clearly indicates another meaning: a. "Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Environmental Protection; b. "Department" means the Department of Environmental Protection; c. "Vessel" means every description of watercraft or any other artificial contrivance used, or capable of being used, as a means of transportation on or into water; d. "Person" means and shall include corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, and shall also include all political subdivisions of this State, and any other state, or any agencies or instrumentalities thereof.
