56:8-58. Blocking of telephone access 5. The Board of Public Utilities is directed to adopt rules and regulations providing a procedure whereby a subscriber, or the legal representative, guardian, or personal representative of a subscriber may request the telephone company to block access to an information service from the telephone of the subscriber. For purposes of this section, a personal representative is a person designated by the subscriber to serve as the subscriber's representative to the telephone company in the case of billing, emergencies and related matters.
