Emergency housing; extension of contract

55:14G-33. Emergency housing; extension of contract Whenever, under the authority of the act hereby supplemented, the governing body of any municipality, by resolution, shall find that a need for emergency housing continues in such municipality and shall file a certified copy of such resolution with the administrator, any contract theretofore entered into by such municipality with the said administrator pursuant to said act shall, thereupon be extended and shall continue in full force and effect during the period of the emergency as so extended by such resolution, but not in excess of the 2-year period provided for in the act hereby supplemented, notwithstanding any terms or conditions of such contract and any provisions of said act to the contrary.
