Continuance of deductions

54:4-8.16. Continuance of deductions A claim having been filed with and allowed by the assessor shall continue in force from year to year thereafter without the necessity for further claim so long as the claimant shall be entitled to a veteran's deduction hereunder, but the assessor may at any time require the filing of a new application or such proof as he shall deem necessary to establish the right of the claimant to continuance of the deduction. It shall be the duty of every claimant to inform the assessor of any change in his or her status or property which may affect the claimant's right to continuance of the deduction.
