Superintendent may administer oaths; perjury

53:4-4. Superintendent may administer oaths; perjury The superintendent or deputy superintendent of state police may administer oaths to all witnesses brought before him by virtue of any provision of this chapter. Any such witness who shall testify falsely to any material matter upon such investigation or inquiry, shall be guilty of perjury.
