53:3-2. Local patrol stations; right to acquire use of lands for The superintendent shall from time to time establish headquarters and patrol stations in such localities as he shall deem most advisable for the protection of the rural and suburban portions of the state, and for the enforcement of the laws of the state. To that end he may, with the approval of the governor, acquire the right to use lands and buildings for the accommodations of the members of the state police, their horses and equipment.
