53:1-9.1. Leave of absence for special duty in Federal Bureau of Investigation The Superintendent of State Police is authorized to grant a leave of absence, without pay, to any officer of the State Police, or to any trooper or other member of the personnel of the State Police, who shall be given an emergency appointment to special duty in the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the Department of Justice.
