Contract for furnishing of service

53:1-21.4. Contract for furnishing of service The Superintendent of State Police, subject to the approval of the Attorney-General, is authorized and empowered to contract for the furnishing of modern mobile radiotelephone and intercommunicating service when, in the opinion of the Superintendent of State Police, such contract will provide for the most efficient service available. Any such contract shall be made subject to appropriations made by law. With the approval of the State Treasurer, any such contract may be entered into without competitive bidding.
