Failure of officers to perform duties; misdemeanor; removal

53:1-20. Failure of officers to perform duties; misdemeanor; removal Any officer mentioned in this article who shall neglect or refuse to make any report or to do any act required by any provision of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars. Such neglect or refusal shall also constitute nonfeasance in office and subject the officer to removal therefrom.
