53:1-18.1. Fingerprints of persons arrested for or charged with narcotic or dangerous drug offenses Every law enforcement officer designated in R.S. 53:1-15 shall, immediately upon the arrest of any person for or within a reasonable time after the filing of a complaint by a law enforcement officer charging any person with any offense against the laws of the United States, or any offense against the laws of this State, relating to narcotic or dangerous drugs, whether the same shall be indictable or otherwise, take the fingerprints of such person and forward copies thereof together with photographs and such other description and information as is required by such section in the case of the arrest of persons for any offense indictable under the laws of this State.
