Definitions

53:1-11.10. Definitions As used in this act: a. "Bureau" means the Bureau of Marine Law Enforcement established in section 2 of this act. b. "Waters of the State" means, but shall not be limited to, the waters of the Atlantic ocean for three nautical miles eastward from the shores of this State; all navigable and non-navigable, tidal and non-tidal, rivers, bays, streams, and inlets; and any other water within the jurisdiction of the State. c. "Superintendent" means the Superintendent of the Division of State Police in the Department of Law and Public Safety. L. 1986, c. 150, s. 1.
