52:7-10.5 Official stamp. 14. Official Stamp. a. The official stamp of a notary public shall: (1) include the name of the notary public, the title "Notary Public, State of New Jersey," and the notary public's commission expiration date; and (2) be capable of being copied together with the record to which it is affixed or attached or with which it is logically associated. b. If a notarial act regarding a tangible record is performed by a notary public, an official stamp shall be affixed to or embossed on the certificate near the signature of the notary public so as to be clear and readable. If a notarial act regarding an electronic record is performed by a notary public and the certificate contains the information specified in subsection a. of this section, an official stamp must be attached to or logically associated with the certificate.
