Bidders to be classified; notice

52:35-3. Bidders to be classified; notice The state officials shall classify all such prospective bidders as to the character and amount of public work on which they shall be qualified to submit bids, and bids shall be accepted only from persons qualified in accordance with such classification. The classification shall be made and an immediate notice thereof shall be sent to the prospective bidder or bidders by registered mail within a period of eight days after the date of receipt of the statement in response to the questionnaire.
