52:34-6.7 Definitions relative to biofuels. 2. As used in this act: "Biofuel" means liquid or gaseous fuels produced from organic sources such as sustainably grown and harvested crops including native noninvasive energy crops, agricultural residues and non-recycled organic waste including waste cooking oil, grease and food wastes, sewage and algae. "Energy crops" means crops grown exclusively for energy production, including switchgrass and poplar. "State entity" means a department, agency, or office of State government, a State university or college, or an authority created by the State. L.2010, c.101, s.2.
