52:27H-33. Members; removal; vacancies; oaths; record; expenses; inapplicability of conflicts of interest law a. Any public member of the authority may be removed by the appointing authority for cause. Any vacancy in the public membership shall be filled in the same manner as the appointment was made, but for the unexpired term. b. Each member of the authority, before entering upon his duties, shall take and subscribe an oath to perform the duties of the office faithfully, impartially, and justly to the best of his ability. A record of the oaths shall be filed with the office of the Secretary of State. c. The members of the authority shall serve without compensation, but the authority may reimburse its members for necessary expenses incurred in the discharge of their duties. d. No member or employee of the authority shall be considered to be a State officer or employee or a special State officer or employee subject to the provisions of the "New Jersey Conflicts of Interest Law," P.L.1971, c. 182 (C. 52:13D-12 et seq.) solely by virtue of that membership or employment.
