52:27D-400. Goals of community action programs. 6. Community action programs shall have, but not be limited to, the following goals: a. Securing and retaining employment, attaining adequate education and obtaining decent and affordable housing for community residents; b. Assisting community residents in improving the allocation of available income; c. Promoting family planning, consistent with personal and family goals; d. Securing services for the prevention of substance use disorder and for the rehabilitation of persons with a substance use disorder; e. Obtaining emergency assistance to meet individual and family needs including health, housing, employment and energy assistance services; and f. Increasing the participation of community residents in community affairs. L.1991,c.51,s.6; amended 2023, c.177, s.148.
