52:27D-198.16 Adoption, enforcement of federal mattress flammability standard; rules, regulations. 2. a. The State of New Jersey shall adopt and enforce as a State safety requirement the federal mattress flammability standard codified at Title 16 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1633, as amended and supplemented. b. The Commissioner of Community Affairs shall promulgate, not later than the first day of the sixth month next following the effective date of this act, the rules and regulations necessary to effectuate the provisions of this act, in accordance with the provisions of the "Administrative Procedure Act," P.L.1968, c.410 (C.52:14B-1 et seq.).
