Appropriation by municipality; anticipation in budget

52:27D-118.31. Appropriation by municipality; anticipation in budget The financial assistance provided to an eligible municipality pursuant to the provisions of this act shall be appropriated by the municipality in compliance with the provisions of the "Local Budget Law," N.J.S. 40A:4-1 et seq. Notwithstanding any provisions of the "Local Budget Law," N.J.S. 40A:4-1 et seq., any eligible municipality receiving a payment of financial assistance pursuant to the provisions of this act may anticipate the receipt of the amount of financial assistance certified to it by the director and may file any amendment or corrections in its local budget as may be required to reflect that certified amount in its budget.
