Commissioner; appointment; term of office; compensation

52:27C-2. Commissioner; appointment; term of office; compensation The co-ordinator, who shall be the commissioner of the department, hereinafter referred to as the "commissioner," shall be nominated and appointed by the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate. The commissioner shall serve for a term of four years and until his successor is appointed and qualified, and shall receive an annual compensation of twelve thousand dollars ($12,000.00).
