Suits in name of State for recovery of money

52:27B-42. Suits in name of State for recovery of money The commissioner shall, except as otherwise provided by law, cause suit to be instituted in any competent court of this or any other State for the recovery of any money due the State or any of its institutions, departments, commissions or officers. The suit shall be in the name of the "State of New Jersey" as plaintiff. L.1944, c. 112, art. 3, p. 301, s. 33.
