52:27-39.3. Settlement may include what; terms; consideration Such compromise settlement may include and be made on such terms as the board of chosen freeholders may deem fair and equitable and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, may provide for the acceptance by the county or its treasurer in full and final discharge of the claim covered thereby of a sum in cash or of notes or bonds, or both, or of any other consideration, whether or not the face value or market value of such considerations shall equal the amount of such claim.
