52:24-3. Personnel The State Auditor shall be in the Office of Legislative Services, and subject to the approval or as authorized by the Legislative Services Commission and with the approval of the Executive Director of the Office of Legislative Services as to the existence of the positions and availability of funds therefor, shall appoint such necessary professional and other employees as shall be required to administer and perform the constitutional and statutory duties of his office.
