52:24-10.1. Cancellation on records of uncollectible account, note or credit item due Clerk of Superior Court The State Auditor is authorized and empowered, subject to the approval of the Attorney-General, to direct the Clerk of the Superior Court to cancel on the records of the clerk any account, note, or credit item due and payable to the clerk which, upon examination, is determined to be uncollectible, and in any such case the State Auditor shall issue an appropriate order, which shall, when such order is countersigned by the Attorney-General, be sufficient authority to the clerk for such cancellation.
