Office of state auditor continued; employees continued

52:24-1. Office of state auditor continued; employees continued The office of state auditor, created by an act entitled "An act creating the office of state auditor and defining his powers and duties," approved June twenty-sixth, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three (L.1933, c. 295, p. 793), is continued. All employees and persons formerly holding positions in the department of accounting and auditing and assigned to state auditing work, and transferred to the state auditor's department by the above entitled act, shall continue to hold their employment and positions notwithstanding the passage of said act, and the status of each such employee shall be as one continuing in the employment of the state with respect to all his rights and privileges under the civil service of this state or under any pension law or retirement system, or any other law, and each such employee shall retain all such rights and privileges as may be pertinent to his status in the service of the state.
