52:18A-7 Former Office of State Comptroller abolished; accounting and financial management to Division of Budget and Accounting. 7. The office of State Comptroller, also designated and referred to as "Comptroller of the Treasury," as continued and transferred to and constituted an office within the Division of Budget and Accounting in the Department of the Treasury pursuant to the "Department of the Treasury Act of 1948," P.L.1948, c.92 (C.52:18A-1 et seq.), is abolished, and the Director of the Division of Budget and Accounting shall exercise the powers and perform the functions and duties concerning accounting and financial management vested in, or imposed upon, the comptroller of the treasury, as may be established by law.
