State marine police force; transfer from department of environmental protection to division of state police

52:17B-9.5. State marine police force; transfer from department of environmental protection to division of state police The supervisory force of marine patrolmen, created pursuant to section 17 of the "New Jersey Boat Act of 1962," P.L.1962, c. 73 (C. 12:7-34.52), hereafter to be known as the State Marine Police Force, with all its powers and duties, is transferred from the Department of Environmental Protection to the Division of State Police in the Department of Law and Public Safety. The transfer directed by this section shall be made in accordance with the "State Agency Transfer Act," P.L.1971, c. 375 (C. 52:14D-1 et seq.). L.1980, c. 96, s. 1, eff. July 1, 1981.
