Executive-director; appointment; compensation; assistance

52:17B-5.8. Executive-director; appointment; compensation; assistance The office shall be administered by an executive-director who shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Attorney General. The Attorney General shall fix the compensation of the executive-director within the limits of available appropriations and shall assign to the office such employees in the Department of Law and Public Safety as may be necessary to assist the executive-director in the performance of his duties and for the efficient operation of the work of the office.
