Department established; appointment and term of Attorney-General

52:17A-2. Department established; appointment and term of Attorney-General There is hereby established a Department of Law in the State Government. The Attorney-General shall be the head of said department and the Attorney-General shall be nominated by the Governor and appointed by him with the advice and consent of the Senate and shall hold his office for the term of five years.
