52:15C-23 Office of Medicaid Inspector General abolished, functions, powers, duties transferred. 4. a. The Office of the Medicaid Inspector General established pursuant to P.L.2007, c.58 (C.30:4D-53 et seq.) in the Office of the Inspector General is abolished and all of its functions, powers and duties, except as otherwise provided by this act, P.L.2010, c.33 (C.52:15C-20 et seq.), are continued and transferred to the Office of the State Comptroller. b. Except as otherwise provided in this act, P.L.2010, c.33 (C.52:15C-20 et seq.), whenever, in any law, rule, regulation, order, reorganization plan, contract, document, judicial or administrative proceeding, or otherwise, reference is made to the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General the same shall mean and refer to the Office of the State Comptroller. c. The functions, powers, and duties conferred upon, or required to be exercised by, the Medicaid Inspector General are continued but such functions, powers, and duties are hereby transferred to and shall be exercised and performed by the State Comptroller.
