Secretary to the governor

52:15-3. Secretary to the governor The Governor may appoint and commission a person to be known as the secretary to the Governor who shall hold his office during the pleasure of the Governor and shall keep a correct record of all executive proceedings and decisions and do all other acts appertaining to his office which shall be required of him by the Governor. The secretary to the Governor shall receive such salary as shall be provided by law. He shall pursue no other occupation during his incumbency that will interfere with the daily discharge of the duties of his office. Amended by L.1945, c. 88, p. 430, s. 1; L.1962, c. 65, s. 12, eff. July 1, 1962.
