52:14-9. Election to office by joint meeting void upon failure to qualify within two months If any person elected to any office by the Senate and General Assembly in joint meeting shall neglect or refuse to qualify into such office within two months after being informed of his election by any member of the Senate or General Assembly for the county in which said officer resides, or by the county clerk of such county, said election shall thenceforth be void. Amended by L.1953, c. 49, p. 854, s. 4.
