Mental incapacity of State officer to vacate office.

52:14-13 Mental incapacity of State officer to vacate office. 52:14-13. When an officer of this State or a member of a State board or commission is unable to perform the duties of the commission or appointment because of mental incapacity, the commission or appointment of the officer or member shall become vacated and void, and a vacancy shall thereupon exist in the office, the same as though the officer or member had resigned or died. amended 2013, c.103, s.129.
