Director of Public Information

52:11-65. Director of Public Information The commission shall appoint a Director of Public Information, who shall by training and experience be well-versed in public information services and legislative and governmental processes. He shall serve at the pleasure of the commission and under the supervision and direction of the Executive Director and shall devote his entire time to the duties of his office. He shall organize the legislative public information services with subordinate units necessary for the work of his office. The director shall be responsible for providing nonpartisan information and information services to the officers and members of the Legislature and to all standing reference, joint and special committees and commissions of the Legislature, except as otherwise provided by this act or by determination of the commission or the Legislature.
