51:13-2. Violations, fines 2. Any person violating the provisions of section 1 of P.L.1991, c.487 (C.51:13-1) by selling, offering for sale, giving, transferring, or otherwise assigning, furnishing or making available a lighter that does not conform to the standards adopted under the provisions of section 3 of P.L.1991, c.487 (C.51:13-3) shall be fined $100 for each offense. Each lighter not conforming to those standards that is so sold, offered for sale, given, transferred, or otherwise assigned, furnished or made available shall constitute a separate offense.
