Estimates of amount required by consumer; regulation by superintendent

51:11-12. Estimates of amount required by consumer; regulation by superintendent The licensee shall, before every sale and delivery of soil amendment, execute in duplicate a written estimate of the total amount of soil amendment required by the consumer, the estimated total price of the sale and the type and kind of the soil amendment. One copy shall be given to the consumer and the other copy shall be retained by the licensee for a period of 1 year from the date of execution. The superintendent shall, by regulation or rule, prescribe the form, contents and manner of execution and retention of said estimates, and he may, by regulation or rule, prescribe allowable ranges, variations or exemptions concerning said estimates.
