50:3-9 Possession, sale of oysters taken out of season; prohibition. 50:3-9. No person shall possess, sell or offer for sale any oysters caught or taken from any natural oyster bed or ground where oysters naturally spawn and grow under the tidal waters of the Delaware River, Delaware Bay or Maurice River Cove above the southwest line, except from and including April first to and including June thirtieth of each year or as otherwise determined by the commissioner after consultation with the Delaware Bay Section of the Shellfisheries Council.
