5:8-23. Reports and recommendations by commission The commission shall report to the Governor, the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the General Assembly annually with its recommendations, if any, and if in the meantime it shall discover any matters which shall require immediate change in said laws of this State, in order to prevent abuses and evasions thereof or rectify undesirable conditions in connection with the administration thereof, the commission shall make an interim report immediately to the Governor, to the President of the Senate and to the Speaker of the General Assembly with its recommendations in order to afford opportunity for the Legislature to take immediate action thereon, if such action appears to be necessary.
