Noncompliance; fine

5:3-54. Noncompliance; fine 24. Any person who interferes in any manner with the implementation of or otherwise fails to comply with the provisions of this act, shall be liable to a fine of not more than $5,000 per day for each violation to be adjudged, collected and enforced, in suit filed by the department, pursuant to the provisions of "the penalty enforcement law" (N.J.S.2A:58-1 et seq.).
