Penalty for violation

5:3-21. Penalty for violation 5:3-21. Any person who shall violate any provision of this article shall be subject to a penalty of fifty dollars ($50.00). Such penalty shall be imposed for each day such violation thereafter continues. The penalties may be imposed against the owner or lessee of the premises wherein such violation occurs, or both. The Superior Court and the municipal courts shall have jurisdiction of said violations and the penalties hereunder shall be enforced and collected in a summary manner under "the penalty enforcement law" (N.J.S.2A:58-1 et seq.).
