Temporary bans

5:2A-8.1. Temporary bans If a boxer, kick boxer or combative sports participant has competed anywhere in a bout, he shall not be permitted to box or engage in his sport in this State until 30 days have elapsed since his last bout or a period of time to be determined by the commissioner, regardless of the number of rounds of his last bout. If a boxer, kick boxer or combative sports participant was knocked out in his last bout, he shall not be permitted to box or participate in a combative sport in this State until 60 days have elapsed since his last bout. If a boxer, kick boxer or combative sports participant lost his last bout on account of a technical knockout, he shall not be permitted to box or participate in a combative sport in this State for at least 30 days or longer depending upon the recommendation of the ringside physicians.
