5:12-161.1 Atlantic City Fund, established in CRDA. 44. There is created and established in the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority a special account to be known as the "Atlantic City Fund," into which shall be deposited or credited the moneys specified in section 45 of P.L.1995, c.18 (C.5:12-161.2), and the moneys specified in subsection f. of section 3 of P.L.1984, c.218 (C.5:12-144.1). The moneys in the fund shall be expended by the authority for economic development projects that foster the redevelopment of Atlantic City. The provisions of section 30 of P.L.1984, c.218 (C.5:12-178) shall not apply to investments made out of the Atlantic City Fund for projects to revitalize the boardwalk. The moneys may also be expended for appropriate and reasonable administrative expenses incurred in the administration of the fund by the authority. At least 30 days before the authority votes on an application for funding for a project, the authority shall provide to the Chairpersons of the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee and the Assembly Appropriations Committee, or their successor committees, all relevant information concerning the project.
