Privileges conferred by extension

48:9-29. Privileges conferred by extension Upon making and filing the certificate, and paying the same fee imposed upon other companies for certificates of incorporation, the period of existence of the company shall be extended as declared in the certificate and such company may continue to maintain, operate and extend its works, mains, pipes and appurtenances in the municipality named in the certificate, with the same privileges given by any general law to other gas companies.
