48:5A-31. Municipal officers and employees; interest in CATV company; prohibitions It is unlawful for a member of a municipal governing body or any other officer or employee of a municipality to acquire any interest, direct or indirect, in a CATV company which has applied for or received a municipal consent from such municipality pursuant to this act; or to participate in any municipal action or deliberation upon such an application by a CATV company in which he owns or controls any such interest.
