48:5A-28.2 Application requirements relevant to board's decision on applications; enforcement of commitments. 25. a. All of the elements required to be included in the franchise application pursuant to P.L.1972, c.186 (C.48:5A-1 et seq.) shall form, in part, the foundation for the board's decision as to the certificate of approval or system-wide franchise. b. The failure of a cable television company to abide by or conform its practices to the commitments in the application shall be considered a violation of the certificate of approval or system-wide franchise, and the board may enforce these provisions through any appropriate method, including the imposition of monetary penalties under section 51 of P.L.1972, c.186 (C.48:5A-51), or the suspension or revocation of the certificate of approval or system-wide franchise.
