48:3-31. Passes to officers and employees and their families; "employees" defined Nothing in this title shall be construed to prevent the issue by any steam railroad, street railway, traction, canal, express, telephone or telegraph companies or other common carriers, of free passes or franks to their employees, officers, agents, surgeons, physicians, attorneys-at-law, and their families, and the interchange between said public utilities and common carriers, of passes or franks for their employees, officers, agents, surgeons, physicians, attorneys-at-law, and their families. The term "employees" as used in this section, shall include furloughed, pensioned, and superannuated employees. Amended by L.1948, c. 286, p. 1195, s. 1, eff. Aug. 9, 1948.
